This whole recall thing in California has gone from stupid to just plan ridiculous. First. It only takes a few hundred thousand votes out of millions of people to recall the governor? Second. More than 200 people have officially submitted their paperwork to run and 200 more have applications. This lusterous field includes an 80's TV star (Gary Coleman), a movie star whose crowning achievement is the Terminator series (Arnold) and a porn magnate? Oye! It is like a 3-ring circus. At least it'll take the spotlight off of Florida for a while.
And on top of it, California's democrates promise to recall whoever is elected so it won't end! Whoever thought of starting that recall should be smacked, and hard!
What a waste of time and money.
