Went to a great little Seafood Restaurant in St. Petersburg over the holiday weekend. The Fourth Street Shrimp Store is a great place for some casual seafood at really great prices. I had blackened flounder, $7 for a generous portion that came with 2 sides. And happy hour beer you can't beat, $2.50 for 2 tasty glasses. I know I sound like an advertisement, but I am always happy to tout a locally owned small restaurant that is yummy that won't break the bank. Oh yeah, we tried the homemade Key Lime pie, it's the way it's supposed to be. Tart, sweet and creamy, with a graham cracker crust.
And yes, it actually sells fresh seafood if you want to take it home and try cooking it yourself.
