No one better?
Really briefly. This has been stuck in my craw since Friday night and I watched the opening ceremonies of the winter Olympics. Was there no other women of distinction from North America other than an actress? That Italy thought Susan Sarandon is the cream of the crop when it comes to North American women? I was appalled and still am. Among a Nobel prize winner, former Olympic champions and a champion of human right, Susan Sarandon? How very pathetic.

I didn't get to see all of the opening ceremonies, so I don't know what this is about. What were they doing when they trotted out Susan Saradon?
Oh, so who would you have chosen? This wonderful woman is a loving mother and companion, my soulmate, and the bravest person I know. How dare you sully her name!
